Salutem scholarship

Salutem Care and Education

Healthcare organisation Salutem is offering scholarships for home fee status students on the following undergraduate courses:

The scholarship covers the full value of the tuition fees, together with a maintenance grant for the full three years. Salutem takes care of the funding so you can focus on the learning.

The successful student will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in their services, gaining valuable insight and developing skills that add value to their learning. You can access the Salutem website here.

This scholarship is ideal for those with an interest in supporting people with learning disabilities within a nursing, social work or care setting. Please note: the scholarship is only open to students who have home fee status.

Our first Salutem Scholar, Germain, graduated in January 2024, having studied Learning Disability Nursing. A scholarship with Salutem Care and Education enabled Germain to graduate and pursue a career in learning disability nursing. Germain was grateful to have had the opportunity to receive mentoring and financial support from Salutem which enabled her to focus on her studies.

Priority will be given to Kingston University students who meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • You are the first generation in your family to progress to higher education (i.e. your parents have not been to university; if a brother or sister has, you are still eligible)
