I teach a range of topics both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. My area of expertise in teaching includes developmental psychology and qualitative methods.

Research Interests

My research focuses on children's resilience, belonging, and social development, with a particular interest in how young people navigate periods of change and transition. Through qualitative and applied research, I seek to understand the experiences that shape wellbeing, relationships, and educational outcomes, generating evidence that can inform inclusive practice and support for children and young people.

My work also explores peer relationships and social engagement across different developmental stages and educational contexts.

• Collaborative Professional Development Supporting Neurodivergent Children
  Exploring how early years practitioners, families, and schools work together to support neurodivergent children and strengthen inclusive practice across educational transitions.
• The Social Engagement of University Commuter Students
  Investigating the social experiences, sense of belonging, and engagement of students who commute to university, and how institutions can better support their success and wellbeing.
