Courses taught
My research interests span several interconnected areas at the forefront of artificial intelligence, data science, and next-generation communication technologies. My primary research focus is on Wireless Communication Networks, particularly intelligent and data-driven approaches for 5G/6G, Massive MIMO, and Cell-Free Massive MIMO systems, with an emphasis on resource allocation, power control, network optimisation, and energy-efficient communications.
Alongside wireless communications, my research encompasses Data Science and Machine Learning, where I develop intelligent computational models and optimisation techniques to address complex real-world problems. I am also actively interested in Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial Networks (TN/NTN), exploring their role in future integrated communication infrastructures, as well as Quantum Communication, particularly emerging approaches for secure and next-generation information transmission.
Another important strand of my research is Image Processing and Iris Recognition, where I investigate advanced feature extraction, pattern recognition, and machine learning techniques for robust and accurate biometric identification. My work in this area combines image-processing methods with intelligent computational models to develop reliable recognition frameworks.
I also have research interests in the Internet of Things (IoT) and intelligent connected systems, particularly where IoT, AI, and next-generation networks converge. Collectively, these research directions reflect a multidisciplinary research portfolio centred on Artificial Intelligence, intelligent communications, secure connectivity, computer vision, and emerging technologies, with the overarching aim of developing innovative, efficient, and practically relevant solutions to complex technological challenges.
