I joined Kingston University in 2006 to work on my PhD and became a lecturer in 2009. I am currently a senior lecturer and a module leader of CE4013 Structural mechanics and Engineering materials, CE5013 Structural Engineering 1 and Construction materials, CE6611 Structural engineering 2 and Geotechnical engineering 2. I teach Design of RC elements, Design of timber elements, Structural mechanics, Structural analysis. I am on the teaching team of CE7112 Structural Design in concrete and steel.
My research interests include: effect of elevated and high temperatures on structures, strengthening of RC structures, FRP reinforcement and engineered timber elements, durability and sustainability of new structural elements, FE modelling with ANSYS.
I am interested in the effect of elevated and high temperatures and fire on structural elements, strengthening and design. Currently working on FRP strengthened structural elements, FRP as internal reinforcement, engineered timber elements, durability and petrographic analysis of materials.
