I joined Kingston University in 2006 to work on my PhD and became a lecturer in 2009. I am currently a senior lecturer and a module leader of CE4113 and CE7111. I am a member of the teaching teams of Structural Design 1&2 (CE5013, CE6013), Structural Design in Concrete and Steel (CE7112), Sustainable Infrastructure and others.
My research interests include: effect of elevated and high temperatures on structures, strengthening of RC structures, FRP reinforcement and engineered timber elements, durability and sustainability of new structural elements.
I am interested in the effect of elevated and high temperatures and fire on structural elements, strengthening and design. Currently working on FRP strengthened structural elements, FRP as internal reinforcement, engineered timber elements, durability and petrographic analysis of materials
