I am a theorist of photography with a particular interest in Freudian psychoanalysis. I teach modules on two courses: Photography BA (Hons) and Photography MA. My debut monograph on photo-theory Lacan at the Scene was published (with a foreword by Slavoj Zizek) by the MIT Press (Cambridge, Mass.) in 2009. I am also a photographer, with books including Point and Shoot (Hatje-Cantz) and The Cult of the Street (Tsingou Gallery). I live with my wife and daughter in West London.
