About

I have been a social worker since 2001.

I have worked in a range of social work roles including in child protection, children with disabilities teams, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and Shooting Star Chase Children's Hospice. I have also worked in adult services, setting up and running a project for 'Children In Need' at Princess Alice Hospice, as well as being a community social worker.

I have worked at the University for around 9 years in a variety of roles alongside working in practice. I am a qualified practice educator and practice assessor.

I am currently a senior lecturer at the university and module leader for 2 modules on the BA in Working with Children and Young People (Social Pedagogy). I am the year lead for level 4.

I am the lead academic for service user and carer engagement within the department.
