This website is all about getting Kingston graduates together. But we don't just do it online; we hold events and reunions that give our alumni the opportunity to meet up with old friends and make new ones. And this is where you'll first hear about them. Or, if you're a party animal with a talent for organising, where you can start arranging them.
By registering you get yourself on our Graduate Directory and keep your details up-to-date. That way we can tell you what's happening.
Have you got an idea for an alumni event? It could be based on a year group, a subject group, a sport or university society, or even a hall of residence… or maybe something we haven't thought of yet. We'd also love to hear from you if you've got access to free or special interest venues.
Email alumni@kingston.ac.uk and tell us about it.
We will happily help if you're organising your own reunion – either as a separate gathering or on the back of the Kingston alumni events that take place throughout the year.
We can help you track down missing members of your class/group using the Graduate Directory. Start by looking at the graduate lists section of the website – you may be able to contact some of your friends directly through this.
Due to data protection laws, we're not able to pass on any contact information of other graduates without their permission. However, we can send emails and letters on your behalf (at no cost), encouraging graduates to contact you directly. Please contact alumni@kingston.ac.uk.
If you'd like to invite any lecturers or support staff (including those who may have left or retired) to your reunion, please don't hesitate to ask. We can provide their contact details or, in the case of retired staff, get in contact with them for you.
We can help promote your event by listing it on the alumni events page, publicising it in e-newsletters and in the KINGSTON magazine (sent out to our alumni), and by promoting to Kingston alumni groups on social networking sites.
We can book rooms on your behalf, arrange tours of the campus and organise caretaking (at no cost). We can also organise catering on your behalf (at cost) and liaise with the Students' Union bars if you'd like to hold your reunion there.
It's possible to hire rooms in halls of residence over the summer vacation or you can check out local hotels.
We will help cover costs (within reason), such as those for a welcome drink, and provide you with copies of the KINGSTON magazine, alumni update forms and other university publications.
