Renewable Energy Engineering MSc

Former MSc Renewable Energy Engineering student, Rounak Kharait, graduated in 2010 and has worked for over a decade in renewable energy. Rounak is now the Director of Solar Energy Assessments at DNV GL.

James Wiseman

Mechanical Engineering

James Wiseman studied Mechanical Engineering and graduated from Kingston Technical College in 1944, which later merged into Kingston Polytechnic. He later studied at Columbia University and Harvard Business School, and has worked as an international civil servant for the United Nations, and as an executive in Silicon Valley.

Neomi Bennett

Nursing BSc

A Registered Nurse practitioner and entrepreneur, Neomi Bennett is the inventor of the Multi Award Winning Neo-slip, a life-saving product that aids the application of hospital stockings.

Imran Mahmood

Law LLB

After 25 years in crime law, Imran recently turned his hand to fiction. His first novel, You Don't Know Me, a crime thriller based in the courtroom, was recently featured in the BBC Radio 2 Book Club.

Fiona Quinn

Real Estate MA

Following her graduation in 2009, Fiona soon found that the corporate world wasn't for her, and set her sights on becoming an entrepreneur. However, it wasn't until after two failed businesses that Fiona discovered the power of adventure and her entrepreneurial groove.

Thomas E Brown

Thomas E Brown studied MMus Composing for Film & TV and graduated from Kingston University in 2012. Tom works under 24:Hour Music, specialising in composing music for motion pictures.

Michael Culver

Michael Culver graduated from Kingston in 2003 with a LLB in Law. He began his career in law with a local firm in Hertfordshire, qualifying as a solicitor in 2008, and has recently been appointed Chairman of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Hamadh Abdul Ghanee

Aerospace Engineering BEng

Graduating in 2013, Hamadh returned to the Maldives where he worked in the private sector as a business consultant, before becoming the Deputy Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation for the Maldivian Government.

Wayne Hitchings

Aerospace Engineering & Astronautics BEng

Wayne volunteers in response to natural disasters. He first came across All Hands Volunteers in 2013 after Super Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and has been volunteering with them ever since.

Sara, Amy and Anni are the life-force behind the multi-sensory Head2Head Theatre Company.

Computer Science BSc

Fadil is partner and executive director at property fund management company UKPFM, and franchising consultancy MEFranchising.com.

Emily Frances Gales

Primary Teaching PGCE

Emily works as an editor with content and pedagogy at BBC Worldwide in Hong Kong and enjoys Hiking over to a nice beach with friends (probably Tai Long Wan out in the new Territories of Hong Kong).
