What happens when I get my results?

If you've made Kingston University your firm or insurance choice, you should have received an email from us with a username (your KU student ID) and password to log in to our online student information system (OSIS).

You can log into OSIS on British A-level results day on 18 August 2016 to see straight away if you have a place here at Kingston University. Alternatively you can use your secure UCAS PIN to view your UCAS application online on the UCAS website. Once your place is confirmed, sit back and relax!

If you're not taking A-levels, please email aps@kingston.ac.uk with your results as soon as you get them so we can confirm your place. Please ensure that you include your Kingston University ID number or UCAS application number in the subject line of your email.

If you don't get the results you need to come to Kingston University

We may still be able to confirm your place or offer you a place on an alternative course that suits your needs. Check OSIS or UCAS Track to see whether you have been offered a place or an alternative course.

What happens next?

Once you have confirmed your place, we will email you from 25 August 2016 onwards with information about updating your details online (stage one of enrolment). If you're an international student, you will be able to upload your passport and, if you're coming on a Tier 4 student visa, request your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) (also done through OSIS).

Logging on to OSIS

How do I log into OSIS?: Log in to OSIS using the link below and (if you haven't already done so) you'll be prompted to change your temporary password (the one that we sent you) to a permanent one (that you'll find easier to remember).

If you have problems logging into OSIS, it may be because you have a place confirmed by another university. Just give us a call if you need to check this.

Upload a copy of your valid passport, an image for your ID card and complete 'your fee status': If you haven't already done so, don't forget to upload a copy of your passport to OSIS and complete the 'your fee status' task. Have a look at the fee status frequently asked questions for further details.

This will make sure that we're charging you the right fees – the rate for home (UK/EU) students or the rate for international students. We will email you direct to confirm the outcome of the fee assessment and/or if we need any further information from you.

If you've already emailed us a copy of your passport we'll have added it to OSIS for you so you don't need to upload another copy.

If you haven't already done so, you also need to upload an image for your ID card, as well as a copy of your valid passport by following the link on the OSIS homepage.

International students – request your CAS: If you're an international student coming to UK on a Tier 4 student visa, you need to request your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) through OSIS so that you can apply for a visa.

What if I don't get the grades I need?

If you miss your grades by just a small margin, we may still be able to confirm your place or offer you an alternative course that suits your interests through Clearing.

First check OSIS to see whether you have been offered a place or an alternative course.
