Sustainability and ethics at Kingston University

Sustainability and ethics at Kingston University

At Kingston University, sustainability and ethics are at the core of our learning, teaching and research as well as our campus systems and operations which enable learning.

The Sustainability Hub supports the University to make decisions with the 'big picture' in mind, considering the impact of our work on the environment, the economy and people, both here and globally as well as now and in the future.

It's complex, challenging and has the potential to make a real difference both to us and to society in the future.

The Sustainability Hub is committed to supporting real-world learning opportunities to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills and behaviours for thriving and for leading change in the future.

Kingston University's vision and strategy summarises that "at the heart of what we do" is "respect for individuals, the community and the environment". Three of the University's objectives (2.6, 3.2, 3.7) are directly associated with sustainability.
